Daanyam Technologies Private Limited ("Daanyam", "we") operates the Daanyam API at business.daanyam.in. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
Account data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and name (optional). This is used for authentication, billing, and transactional communication.
API request metadata: We log timestamps, endpoint called, response latency, status codes, and your API key identifier. This is used for rate limiting, debugging, and uptime monitoring.
API request bodies: Input data you send (datetimes, geographic coordinates, ayanamsa choice) is processed in memory to compute your response. We do not persist request bodies to disk or any database after the response is returned.
Payment data: Payments are processed by PhonePe or Razorpay. We store a transaction reference ID and payment status. We never see or store your card or UPI details.
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or sale to third parties.
Account data and request metadata are stored on Google Cloud Platform (asia-south1 region). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to Daanyam engineering personnel on a need-to-know basis.
Account data is retained while your account is active. Request metadata logs are retained for 90 days for operational purposes, then deleted. If you delete your account, all associated data is purged within 30 days.

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies: Google Cloud Platform (infrastructure), PhonePe/Razorpay (payments), Cloudflare (CDN and DNS). No user data is shared with these providers beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.
The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy. Material changes are communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
